Cheap i-Phone knockoff

Good and bad points…
What’s good about this phone:
o It looks quite a lot like an IPhone (I tend to refer to it as the LiePhone)
o The ‘two SIM’ feature is great if you’re abroad and…
The phone came as described looks like an iphone but the software is not the same as an apple iphone. The factory default setting on this phone is set far too loud, everything on this phone is loud, but after changing the default settings it works fine. Price tag is good sound quality very good, and they even throw in a 1GB T-flash memory card and a 3 pin wall adaptor to charge the phone If you are looking for a cheap quad band phone to take abroad this phone would do the trick it even works in the Caribbean. The reason I gave this phone a five star is for its price tag and it works just as good as an apple iphone

TeckNet P168C Happy so far!
Ok so there are enough reviews to say what this phone does. So I am just going to tell you that for the price you cant ask for more! Does what it says on the box.
this phone is great, it came with an adapter and 1gb micro sd. it has two batteries so u can charge one and use one instead of waiting for ur phone to charge all the time. it is v loud to begin with but you can adjust th settings – at least loud means you can hear it instead of some phones i’ve had in the past where even the “outdoor” setting was quiet! the camera/video recorder are both good and simple to use. the phone is laid out like an iphone but doesn’t rotate the display when u turn the phone. the instruction manual isn’t the best english with phrases like “your phone does not have water, please remain dry”. however it is easy enough to work out what is meant. i’d reccomend getting a case for it as the screen, like all touch screens smudges easily and will probably get scratched although mine hasn’t yet. the phone lock was quite annoying but again the settings can be changed. this phone was preset to english not chinese as some reviews state. the phone was due to arrive on the 14th jan, it came on the 24th due to royal mail not tecknet otherwise it would have arrived by the 6th jan. all in all, great phone, great price.
What a shame. A great looking phone, but let down by very poor features. I suspect some looking at this phone might also consider the LG Cookie. Well I own one of those as well. It’s a much better phone. First things. If you buy one of these, the initial problem is how to get the battery cover off. I just couldn’t budge the thing and was concerned I might damage the phone. Someone has actually posted a video of this on Youtube!! Basically you turn the phone over and push the battery cover towards the bottom of the phone pushing down at the same time. BUT THE COVER IS VERY STIFF. Be warned. The cover looks like it’s just the middle bit, but it’s not, it’s the whole bit below the camera. Now the camera. Oh dear. The CAMERA IS NOT I REPEAT NOT a 2MP camera. It’s 640 X480 and hopeless. I will be writing to Amazon as this is an error in their advert. There is a whole load of stuff on the internet about these phones and their cameras. Some phones have a 1. 3MP camera but none of them appear to have a 2MP as advertised. Be warned. There is NO email application built in. Oh and you can’t access Gmail via the WAP Browser, it just gives an error. Same with Yahoo I found. The wap browser is crude to say the least. But if you don’t mind that then the SMS and MMS is OK. The phone seems solid and well made. Contrary to other reviews here you can use your own MP3 ringtone, but you can’t change the message alert to one of your own. Don’t know why Mine didn’t come with any connection software so how you are supposed to sync the inbuilt calendar with say Outlook I don’t know. You can connect the phone to your PC and it gets treated as a USB device so you can copy files. But that is it. My personal advice. If you want a cheap touch screen phone get an LG Cookie. They’ve sorted out the bugs in that phone now. It’s a much better phone to use and has proper email and browsing built in. If you want a phone that looks like an iphone and don’t mind the lousy camera and no email, then this is OK.

got the phone 2 day.. been using alot .. its ok,.. cant expect something brilliant.. for the price its ok.. although i would rather get the LG cookie. But overall good phone..

Hmm, quite good on the whole.
Firstly, it doesn’t compare to the iPhone in looks or interface. It has some very interesting features inbuilt like the dual sim which was very interesting.

Rubbish Don’t Buy!!
I bought this phone thinking i’d just got a great deal on an iphone copy but when i got it out and had it for about 3 days it was rubbish and really felt just cheap and tacky…
